What is the purpose of this level?

  • Showcasing a challenging platforming sequence that leads directly into a boss fight.

  • The layout emphasizes Soulslike path design, using shortcuts and spatial loops to create a tangible sense of progress and reward exploration.

  • Force the player to master traversal mechanics—precise wall runs, air dashes, and momentum chaining—while adapting to dynamic environmental hazards such as movig saws and spikes.

The Radiance Cult is a late-game level designed to test everything the player has learned about movement and control. It is a forgotten cult structure for the cult that wordships The Radiance. Set within a decaying structure suspended above the world, the path forward demands precision, patience, and courage. Each step upward becomes a trial of skill—bridges collapse, winds shift, and enemies guard narrow ledges—pushing players to master every traversal mechanic they’ve earned. The climb is both physical and symbolic: a final ascent before facing the entity that rules above.
